CNSS Communal Seder a great hit, but dont just take our word for it!

We have received many accolades and positive comments from members who attended our first communal seder led by Rabbi Yaakov Finn.

Daniel Anderson wrote that it ‘was an outstanding success and far exceeded our expectations’. We also received several very positive comments on the ‘care and attention to detail’ and the quality and quantity of food (well, it was a Jewish event!) the table decorations (thanks must go to Elaine Israel, Andrea and Cheryl Gold) and the entire planning team. Barry Gordon felt that ‘the whole evening was faultless’ and praised Rabbi Finn’s leadership.

By way of example, here is an email we received shortly after yomtov from Anthony Harris:

Pascale and I would like to express our sincere thanks to all those involved in creating a most memorable Communal Seder night.

We all had a thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful evening, and Jacob too is delighted with his kind presentsfor hiding the Afikoman – he hasn’t put them down!

Chazak Chazak v’Nitchazek!

And Mervyn Kersh wrote:

Betty, Lynne and I want to thank you very much for putting on the Seder at the Shul. In particular, we want to thank Rabbi Finn for his light-hearted treatment of the service without losing the main purpose.

Also thanks and gratitude to Elaine and Elizabeth for all their work (and all the food which was delicious and very plentiful) and the conception of the layout of the tables.  I looked for faults but could not find any.

Thank you again and L’Shana Haba!

We can only add our thanks to the team who suggested, planned, devised, organised, set up and delivered such a memorable evening.

It looks like the CNSS communal second seder could become a permanent feature in the shul calendar. So save the date: SATURDAY 4 APRIL 2015!
